To be eligible, you must be enrolled or accepted into a college, university, or post-secondary training program.

How Much is the Scholarship?
This year’s recipients will each receive $1,000 to put towards their education. We will choose one June and one December winner each year. (See below for dates.)
Selection and Notification Process
The QMPMS Scholarship Committee will select the recipient based on the essay submitted and the information provided in the application. The Committee’s decision is final.
The scholarship recipient will be notified via email within four weeks of the application deadline. Upon notification, the recipient will have two weeks to provide any requested information so that the funds can be disbursed to the student’s school or institution.
How to Apply
Write a short, original essay of about 500 words describing why you think it’s important for a medical practice office to run smoothly. This essay should be in your own words.
Be sure to use proper spelling and a grammar style suitable for conversational writing.

Terms and Conditions for Scholarship Application:
The scholarship money will be paid through check or wire transfer to the financial aid department at the institution where the student is presently enrolled for classes, or enrolled for the next semester, to be used towards tuition, books, room and board, or other eligible education-related expenditures as determined by the financial aid office.
The QMPMS scholarship committee will judge your essay to see how well it is written and how creative it is.
The essay must be the student’s 100 percent original work, not stolen in any way, and created simply for the purpose of applying for this scholarship. It’s not permitted to republish or reuse it for any other reason, including academic citation.
QMPMS may try to contact the scholarship winner by email, phone, or physical mail.
In the event the selected winner does not respond within 15 days, QMPMS reserves the right to withhold the award and/or offer it to the next eligible applicant.
Once a preliminary winner has been chosen, proof of eligibility and verification of enrollment will be necessary.
If an applicant’s eligibility standards change after he or she has been awarded the grant, we will distribute the money to the next eligible individual.
The QMPMS scholarship is not available to any employee, owner, partner, nor to immediate family members of these.
The scholarship recipient consents to provide a photo and gives QMPMS written permission to use the picture and name on this webpage’s list of scholarship recipients.
In the event that no applicant fulfills the requirements, QMPMS reserves the right to withhold scholarship disbursement.
